About Me
Visiting Assistant Professor - CSU San Marcos
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at California State University, San Marcos. I have been in Southern California my entire life, starting at Palomar College, earning my B.S. in Astronomy at San Diego State University, and obtaining my Ph.D. in Physics at the University of California Riverside (UCR). After which, I was a Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow at UCR in the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department and an Adjunct Professor in the Astronomy Department at Chaffey College.
Overall, I consider myself an interdisciplinary astronomer given my experience studying the cosmos on many scales---including exoplanets, stars, and galaxies!
